Bankroll Management for Casino and Sports

Keep play money separate

Move a fixed amount into the casino or sportsbook wallet and leave living costs in another account. If the play balance hits zero, the session is over. Topping up mid-session is how a planned night turns into a problem.

Size bets in units, not moods

A unit is 1-2% of the current bankroll. Sports singles and even-money casino bets stay inside that band. High volatility slots and long-odds parlays need a smaller unit because they miss more often.

Set the stop before the first bet

Write down a time stop and a loss stop. A win stop helps too: cash out a slice when you are well ahead so the extra is not fed back in. Chasing with larger stakes after a loss is the fastest way to empty the wallet.

  • One bankroll, one session cap.
  • 1-2% of bankroll per standard bet.
  • Stop when the cap hits, not when you “get even”.
